The Side Frames are our addition to this kit and provide an alternative to the manufacturers suggested assembly method of constructing side frames from the etched stainless steel component. The Side Frames (supplied in clear acrylic) have been painted here to enhance the picture quality.

Its impressive how detailed it is, the only bad part is that its hard to paint, specially if you want to paint from inside to keep the shining of the plastic. |

How I find the set.
This is going to be a brilliant addition to the scenes we can model on our railways. The new sides, that Alan has provided, are certainly more robust than the ones that come as standard. Don't worry about not using the etchings provided. They will have many applications as railings, garden fences etc, Top marks for supplying the alternative sides. |
